My Favorite Toilet Paper

This is my favorite brand and I LOVE how thin it is.  I know it sounds a little weird to talk about this.  But I had my husband grab some toilet paper the other day cause we ran out and we were going out of town and my dad was going to be staying at our house while we were gone.  Well he got a different brand and I hate how thick it is.  I feel like I'm wasting toilet paper.  Not to mention it falls apart as you use it. 

Ellie Tufted Fabric Bed

I'm in love with this bed from Costco for my daughter.  I bought my sons bed from Costco and the quality is amazing.  Is it a sign because her name is the same as the bed?  I know I could make the headboard myself for cheaper but I'm feeling a little lazy and unmotivated in that department.

Mascara

I love this mascara.  When I bought some the other day I didn't realize that it was waterproof.  I was using it I couldn't get it to come off at night.  I wake up with raccoon eyes. I really don't know what the appeal to waterproof mascara is.  It still smears and it doesn't come off.  Therefore the next day when I need to apply more, it's still clumped on my eyelashes.  I haven't had time to go back to the store and buy regular mascara.  There is my beef with waterproof mascara.

Friday Favorite

I found this Fahrenheit straightener at TJ Maxx for $30.  Online it sells for $100.  I'm loving it and what it does for my hair.  I can wear my hair straight or curly.  Yep that's right it curls my hair and gives it perfect ringlets that stay all day.  They had about 5 more left at the St. George TJ Maxx.

Looking for Stroller/Carseat

If your looking for a carseat/stroller combo.  This is the best one.  My husband and I bought this with our first child and we have LOVED it!  We use the jogging stroller ALL the time.  The stroller is smooth and perfect for running or even just walking. 

When I go on walks with friends they are always envious how easy it is to go on sidewalks, run over rocks, etc.

Pride & Prejudice

I know that I have been neglecting this blog this past week.  My reason for it is due to Pride & Prejudice.  I have never read this book or seen the movie before.  Of course I've heard of it.  My mother bought me all of Jane Austin's books for Christmas and I decided I must finally read Pride & Prejudice.  I've heard so much about it and how much everyone enjoys it.

There has not been a book since Twilight that I have obsessed over so much.  I couldn't put it down and every spare moment that I had I devoted to reading this book.  I felt a little inferior reading this.  They spoke so different back then.  There were many times I had to re-read sentences to understand what they were saying.  I also felt as though I needed a dictionary to look up the true meaning of the words.

Do you ever feel bad upon finishing a book because you don't want it to end?  That's how I felt about this book and I wanted to watch every movie made about it.  I just finished the BBC version.  Not the best acting but it was made in 1980 and it was very much to the book.

I recommend if you haven't read it go read it!

Were have I been?

Sorry I took a long weekend.  I wish I could say I went somewhere cool and had a very excited weekend but the truth is I didn't.  I've been reading my book club book The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society.  I LOVED this book!  I highly recommend you go out immediately and read it yourself if you haven't already.  I loved how it was written and I now would like to go live on Guernsey or at least visit.

Every month The Shabby Shoppe Blog makes a free desktop background.  You download it to your computer and then you can put whatever picture you want in it.  I do it every month and love having it on my computer.  I put pictures of my kids in mine.  It's always hard to narrow it down to 1-2 pics.

My Oscar Dress Favorites

The main reason I like to watch the Oscar's is to see the dresses.  Here are my favorites.

 

#1.  Anne Hathaway - What can I say this dress is beautiful and I just love the train.

#2. Mila Kunis - I love how feminine it looks and the color.

#3. Jennifer Hudson - could of used a little less cleavage but she looks AMAZING!

#4. Scarlett Johansson - Love the color and lace design.

#5. Michelle Williams - I chose her because I love her modest dress.  Makes me think that I could look beautiful and modest if I went to the Oscars.

The last two shows my hubby and I watch together.

Most my shows are Teen shows but I LOVE them.  Most of them are way more adult then teens.  Honestly I would probably not let my teen watch these shows.  I would not want them thinking under age drinking, sex, drug use, and lying is okay.  Yet I LOVE to watch and can't miss an episode.
