I'm back! And ready to get back in the swing of things. Starting with FHE ideas.
We did things a little bit backwards tonight for Family Home Evening, we started with dessert! The boys got me an ice cream ball for my birthday and we wanted to do it with Dad before he had to go to work. The ball actually worked really well and very quick! The boys loved playing with the ball, the only draw back was it doesn't make a whole lot. For the lesson I used the weekly lesson from LDS Magazine, "Provident Living", it was a fun little activity to teach them that the things that are of the most value are the things that last forever.
For the game we played the egg race! A few weeks ago we practiced balancing bouncy balls on spoons. We planned a competition using real eggs and tonight we did just that! The boys had been practicing here and there throughout the weeks and were pumped!
