Every Monday I'm going to post an idea that can be used for Family Home Evening.
For family home evening have a little lesson on past, present and future. Talk about past things that might be done different, about present things that we can do to help future things as well. Have children write a letter to themselves talking about the day and what they did, how the weather was etc.. Then have them write about something that is hard for them right now or something they are worrying about. Also have them write two future goals that they can work on now. Then have the children address them to themselves and in a month mail them and when you get them in the mail you will see where their goals are! For the game play Candyland. It's nice when you find a game that 3-9 can play and actually enjoy it! Props to Candyland! :)
